  here's an excerpt from the recent lawsuit deborah hines v. watchtower bible and tract society of new york et al (paragraphs 158-180), one of 29 known cases brought against the org pursuant to the ny child victims act.

  what should be kept in mind is that gerrit lösch apparently worked in europe (the austrian branch and eastern europe) at the time when the abuse was allegedly reported to him (not a gb member then).. plaintiff was raised a member of the jehovah’s witnesses.

  Sad thing about JW funerals

  i live in a country that has had reasonably low levels of covid.

  bearing this in mind i’d like to discuss my thoughts on 2 jw funerals i attended during this time.. (funeral 1) even though there were no governmental restrictions at the time, the official stance of wt was the halls were shut down.

  despite this the local congregation decided to open the hall up for the service and a reception at a private premises.

  I've attended several Zoom memorials this year. (password was public, and I didn't know anyone) I

  think all had the, 'Just around the corner song' with video of pictures of the deceased life playing

  before and after the talk.

  The first one, at the end, I got a popup asking how many were attending with me.

  
  I thought they were all fine and balanced. I think the 1975 urgency spirit is over, at least the ones I attended.
  
  The preaching was toned down, compared to years ago.

  The last one was a hunter from Idaho, surprised they allowed pictures of his trophy elk from his hunting trip and also a buffalo on it.

  Half of attendees had their camera off.

  New Light and Reading Apostate Literature

  i've been reading through some old threads, and one of barbara anderson's posts was so fascinating to me...i just had to share.

  she explains how "new light" works it's way up the ladder to get approved by the gb.

  she also brings out that there was a "closet" in the writing dept library that contained "apostate" books.

  I'm still waiting for them to be 100% OK'd for being effective with NO side effects. And take responsibility for all bad things that the jab caused, - it doesn't look good.

  I used that parking lot, it certainly was a provision from Jehovah and his non profit Watchtower Corporation; back in the days when we sold the literature. Trying to find a parking spot without that would have been tough.

  'On December 12, 2018, Jehovah’s Witnesses sold their last remaining property at their former Brooklyn headquarters, One York Street, also known as 30 Front Street, to Fortis Dumbo Acquisition, LLC. Since 2004, the Witnesses have sold 37 of their properties in Brooklyn.

  After purchasing the York Street site in 1977, the Witnesses used it as a parking lot for personnel who worked at their former headquarters.'
